EXCLUSIVE: Ryan Eagle Revealed – The Man behind the Money

Posted by JasperP on May 3rd, 2010

I FINALLY got the inside scoop on Ryan Eagle and his operation.  Secret sources have revealed insider information on how Ryan Eagle got started in the industry.

As you guys may or may not know, Ryan Eagle runs an affiliate network at EWA Network.  This is a pretty big network and they have like 1000+ offers.  Not to mention that they give the highest payouts in the industry because of the slim margins.

    The Ryan Eagle Today

It hasn’t always been like this.  Ryan Eagle started out with humble beginnings.  We see him as this guy hustling everyday.  He tells it like it is.  Check it out:

    The REAL Story

Throw out EVERYTHING you’ve heard about him, I’m about to reveal the true mystery behind the bling.

Ryan Eagle has been in the Marketing industry for awhile now, but before that, he was doing other gigs to pay for the Diamonds and the bling.

Believe it or not, Ryan Eagle started out modeling to fund his businesses.  Yes, MODELING! This ain’t pansy modeling gigs, this is some real hardcore stuff.

Here are a few pictures from the Modeling days:

    Modeling Career Put on Hold

I have to admit, some of those pictures are terrible! What was he thinking??? From my insider sources, I heard that he had to hold off on any more model shots.  It wasn’t paying the bills. He probably  had to get a job at McDonalds or something.

In all seriousness, despite his humble beginnings, his change in career choices has proven to be the most BENEFICIAL move for him.  I don’t think his modeling career was going to go anywhere and running EWA Network and servicing all his affiliates doesn’t allow him any more time to do modeling gigs.

I gotta give it up to him though.  Awesome success  story.  Ryan Eagle and the EWA Network has risen up to be one of the top networks out there.  If you haven’t already, I CHALLENGE you to get into this referral-only private network and see what he has to offer.

You can sample some of his work on the EWA Network Twitter:

    Thank You Revolution202!

A small envelope arrived in the mail the other day with a handwritten message on it.  To my surprise, the team at Revolution202 sent me $2.02 with a note saying “thanks for everything”.  It’s a pretty nice touch to the launch of their new network.  I’ve known the guys at tracking202 for awhile now and I know they always bring quality to everything they release to the public.

Check out what they sent me:

    r202.jpg

So I haven’t decided what to spend it on.  I was talking to my buddy Eric, and he was saying to spend it on PPV to scale with 1000% ROI with my new startup capital. lol

If I scale my $2.02 with 1000% ROI, that would mean I could bring in Profit = ($2.02 * 1000%) / 100 = $20.20.  (Did I calculate ROI correctly? Check out http://www.wickedfire.com/affiliate-marketing/63218-roi.html for more info.  haha)

What should I spend my $2.02 on?

If you guys haven’t checked out Revolution202 yet, please do so now:

    Revolution202 Network: Join the Revolution!

They have several people there that are experienced in the affiliate marketing industry, so definitely signup for their network.

Anyway, I just want to say thanks again to the Revolution202/Tracking202 team again for sending me this nice litte note in the mail.

    The Revolution is here.

Ad:Tech San Fran and Lake Tahoe Recap (With Pics!)

Posted by JasperP on April 29th, 2009

Wow.  What can I say about ad:tech San Francisco? This has to rank as one of the best trips this year!

    Day 1: Hotel Check-in

We drive up from Los Angeles to San Francisco and check-in to our room at around 8pm only to find out that our room doesn’t have cell phone reception! The hotel was kind of enough to let us change rooms with reception.  Me and Nick just walk around Union Square, had some pizza and called it a night.  This was probably the most boring day. lol

Day 2: The first day of the ad:tech!

We only got the expo hall pass so we pretty much spent the whole day there.  We met up with Danielle Nagami, Justin Barr and walked around looking for traffic sources.  The main thing was making new contacts and networking with other marketers in the industry.  I also ran into Diana Lopez, Ryan Machara, James Seligman and some of the tracking202 crew (Roland, Aaron, Nana, Feldo, Steven, Wes, Man, Lorenzo, to name a few).  Also saw Eleah and Shaunti from AKMG as well as Ruck and Michael Durham from Convert2Media.

At night time, we ended up going to the ppc.bz party at The Cat Club and watching the awesome acai berry jello stripper MMA fight.  It was supposed to be a friendly wrestling match, but ended up in a cat fight between the strippers!  We left and ended up getting drunk at the advertise.com party at Ruby Skye and the rest was history!

    Day 3: Ad:tech Part 2

We hit up the second floor of ad:tech and met up with Eric Ngo and his friend Brian.  Also met Feldo Nartapura and Yan Zhang from eAdvertising.com and had some interesting conversations (NSFW, lol… well maybe for Yan).

At night, we went to the very cool Meetup202 at MIGHTY.  It was a cool social event to meet other people in the marketing industry. Wasn’t anything too crazy, just a nice networking mixer.  Afterwards, we went to Advercircus where it was FREE DRINKS all night! That’s when we got all crazy.  Ordering shots after shots was fun. Thanks to Clickbooth for hooking that up!

Day 4 & 5: Chillin in San Francisco

It was the end of the conference and I already felt like we’ve been there for like a week.  So much partying and drinking every night, but it wasn’t over yet.  We hung out at the tracking202 house for a little BBQ shindig and then toured around San Fran to the Golden Gate bridge and Fisherman’s wharf.  We ended up going to a lounge later that night and playing “I have never…”.  Interesting topics that night.

On Friday, we left for Lake Tahoe for our mini-snowboarding trip at the Squaw Valley Ski Resort.

Day 6 & 7: Snowboarding and Road Trip

Squaw Valley was insane! I can’t believe they were closing the resort already.  I guess it costs too much to keep it open since no one wants to go snowboarding during that time.  The snow was amazing because it snowed the night before so that was pretty cool.

Coming back to LA, we decided to just “wing” it on the way home.  We drove to Carson City (which was absolutely BORING.  You would think Las Vegas would be the capital of Nevada) and had lunch there.  We also drove past Mammoth Lakes and stopped to take some pictures.  We almost drove to Yosemite Park but it was closed.

We finally get home around midnight and we slept our asses off.

    The End.

I just want to give a shoutout to all the people I met at ad:tech:

All you guys made this one of the best trips ever.  See you at ASE:NYC!!

Networking Is The Key To Success!

Posted by JasperP on February 16th, 2009

A few days ago, Bryn posted a very important topic on his blog titled: “Networking Is The Most Important Thing In Affiliate Marketing.”  I really believe this is critical to your success and will keep you motivated to keep working on your business.

Some people have asked me if I did consulting and were willing to pay me for it.   I told them “fuck that.. let’s just share tips and experiences!”  I don’t mind helping people out because I can also learn from them as well.

Anyway, just wanted to post my top places to network with other affiliate marketers:

    1. networking_aim.jpg networking_msn.jpgnetworking_gchat.gif  networking_skype.png
Instant Messaging – I use this regularly and it’s easy to just get in contact with someone and discuss different topics of marketing.  Contact me at JasperP81 on AIM.
    2. networking_meetup202.png
Meetup202 - The meetup202 groups created by Wes and Steven of Prosper202 are GREAT for networking with other affiliate marketers.  I’ve met tons of people through my local Los Angeles meetup.  Check out if there are Meetup202 events in your area: meetup202.com.
    3. networking_affiliatesummit.gif
Affiliate Summit - Affiliate Summit West and Affiliate Summit East events are a MUST for affiliate marketers.  You get to connect with other marketers on a more personal level. Plus it’s great fun partying and just chillin’.  Mark your calendars: Affiliate Summit East is on Aug 9-11 @ New York City.  Check it out: affiliatesummit.com.
    4. networking_twitter.gif
Twitter - Twitter is another networking tool that can be used to get in contact with other marketers.  Dubbed as “mini-blogging”, you can reply back and forth with people about topics that they post or “tweet”.  Follow me at twitter.com/JasperP.
    5. networking_rss_icon2.png
Blogs - Subscribing to blogs are another way to get in contact with other marketers.  I personally use Google Reader to consolidate all the blogs that I follow.  I use this to keep an eye on the latest news in the Affiliate Marketing Industry.  Currently, I subscribe to about 100 blogs.  Check out Google Reader. It’s free! Then subscribe to this blog by clicking on my RSS link.
    6. networking_facebook.gifnetworking_linkedin.gif
Social Networking - Facebook and LinkedIn are popular spots to get in touch with other marketers.  I just started to expand my social network so hit me up on Facebook and LinkedIn.

    7. Forums - I used to be a bit more active on forums before, however, nowadays I’m not as active as I could be, but there are quite a few affiliate marketing forums out there such as WickedFire, Prosper202, PPC-Coach, Convert2Media, Cash Tactics, Xtreme Profits, etc.  If I’m on there, my username is usually “JasperP”.
So that should be enough to get you started.  Don’t be shy! I’ve advised people to find a buddy at the same level so that you guys can grow together and share your experiences with each other. Go out there and start meeting people!
